Haha, that would so be me if I didn’t hold back!

I’m a hugger, I’ll hug just about anyone who lets me. And I love to give presents. Love it. It makes people uncomfortable because they think I’m sucking or I want something in return, but I don’t, I just really love giving people things.

I’m also a big baby when it comes to goodbyes. It’s especially weird when I meet up with online friends because their last memory of our get together tends to be of me bawling my eyes out.

I guess one of the good things about being female is that I can get away with that kind of behavior.

Totally random but perhaps somewhat related story…

I am notorious for being somewhat overaffectionate… to a very embarassing degree. I’m not one of those people that shies away from telling others she loves them. I love everyone by default!

So it’s always awkward when I say goodbye to acquaintances, and spit out something like “Have a good day! I love you!” to which I always get strange looks. I’m sorry… it’s just something I say all the time. People need to stop getting so weirded out by my overabundance of “I love you!”s!

Ha ha; no need to feel any pressure. I’m sure that whatever you have planned will be well worth reading. (This is the Man With no Paladin reading a Paladin blog, after all. )

And being single does, I suppose, have its advantages. Like you mentioned, it allows me to wish my female friends a happy Valentine’s Day without the risk of having a girlfriend or wife smack me upside the head for it. And I’m not the guy that has to buy the flowers!

And I’m sappy and sentimental most of the time anyway, ha ha.

I wish I could take credit for coining “male judgment day”, but a member of a message board I used to post at used that term all the time. It is pretty true, which is both funny and sad at the same time.

I definitely enjoy my low stress single life this time of year. No worries about being disappointed, taken for granted or anything like that.

Although, the rare times I am in a relationship, I have no problems being treated like a princess. Doesn’t bother me at all ;D

Oh god, that’s too true. But seriously, I’m the same way. I’ve been a bachelor for so long that I don’t really envy couples on Valentine’s. I don’t have to buy chocolates/flowers/balloons/epics for anyone, don’t have to go to no sappy movies or expensive restaurants…

Ah, the freedom of single life.

As a fellow single person (and someone whose friend base consists mostly of people who are married or otherwise involved), I’m curious as to what you have planned. I look forward to seeing what you’ve got up your sleeve.

And if I’m not mistaken, isn’t the holiday boss encounter for the Valentine’s event in Shadowfang Keep?
