Also no worries about my expensive parts losing resale value, injuries were very insignificant. I just really like complaining about injuries.

(And a life lesson I forgot to post was actually that it’s apparently normal behaviour in Vancouver to ask women off the street if they’re German. I got stopped and asked that more than once. Which I thought was really weird.)

12- But I try to not look geeky! Except when I went to see the Video Games Live concert. I was so damn proud of being a geek that night!

As for London, I hope that I have your luck if I ever visit London!

If you fall out of the boat, you grab onto the rope on the side so your buddy can pull you back in. If you’re too far from the boat, they’ll toss you a rope and you grab it. If you’ve lost the boat, you swim legs first to the side of the river and find a safe spot to climb out. Avoid trees in the water at all cost.

6 – I once got caught in the open field in a hailstorm. While riding my racing bike. I wish I had known about those clothes back then…

8/9 – Travel Europe sometime, you’ll find Stormwind and pretty much any castle or stronghold from over here. :)

12 – Pale skin gives you lots of geek streetcred, though. ;)

On weather: Funny, I had the same experience with London years ago. Best weather in ages, never even a cloud for two weeks. :D
