I sat right next to her at this Q&A (you can tell because she had a blue bar on her badge), we were probably 6 chairs away from where the kid was standing when he asked.

She laughed harder than anyone when Alex said “we’ll get that fixed”. The guy sitting with her (not a Blizz employee) asked if they really would. She said she didn’t doubt it and wouldn’t be surprised if they comped him some stuff or something, if they could find him. She said no one has more of a sense of humor about Blizzard than Blizzard itself. She seemed to sincerely appreciate that he asked the question too. Wish I knew what her job was, cuz she seemed so sure he’d get some recognition.

So with that experience there, I thought all the negativity at the kid was really not cool. Glad that she was right and they kicked him some props for doing it. And good for him for standing up for himself afterwards. I didn’t know about the guild stuff though, that’s pretty awesome too.
