Its embarrassing how much my arse was kicked. I mean, I see people all around me fighting cancer, major head injuries, cystic fibrosis…and here I am whining about some muscle pain and reduced mobility.

The treatment I got at the hospital seems to be kicking in and I find I can walk a little further every day. Now I just need my laptop to come back from repairs…

The thing with the drakes is really just that I came so far and put so many hours into it, it’s sad that I’m so close, yet so far.

These days, though, I think I’m using it as a coping mechanism. I know that as long as I’m worrying about drakes, nothing else can get to me!
