I think that if I actually had to do the work, I wouldn’t like it as much… I do enjoy being able to pitch in when I feel like, but let it go when I don’t feel like pitching in.

WTFFFFF I SHOW UP ON TIME! I just take a lot of prolonged absences because of RL stuff

I’m actually horrible at room cleaning, mine always looks like a tornado hit it. I get too focused on small things, like a drawer and spend a few hours on that. Then I’m too exhausted to take care of the rest. So I always have a messy room with, like, one super tidy drawer.

Yeah but you know, if I promoted to her an officer, that means she’s gotta actually show up on time, and have all this responsibility and not to mention I’d have to give her a raise, and get her increased dental and medical benefits, 6 weeks paid vacations, babysitting for the kids, and then theres taxes to take care of and…

Anyway, she did a great job with it. I just need to clarify up the rest. Complete godsend.

If only I can find someone to clean my room.

Outstanding post. There is a LOT going on there, and in my experience, nobody actually wants to do the job, but it does need to be done. As you pointed out, it’s the forward-facing part of your guild, and WILL drive people away if hey don’t know better. They should make you an officer-in-charge-of-keeping-that-stuff-up-to-date or something.

I am looking forward to part 2!
