I have no idea how other classes can heal without Beacon. It’s been the base of our healing for so long that the thought of having to heal without it makes me all panicky inside.

I’ve given some thought to macro-ing Beacon to Flash/Divine Light, if using the Beacon glyph, since it *would* mean a free HP whenever you had to use one of those on someone who wasn’t already the Beacon. And if it’s a non-tank you would just have to remember to swap the Beacon back to your normal Beacon target after the heal? But that seems like something else to forget…and also that would be one heal where your normal Beacon target wasn’t receiving the Beacon transfer heal…so I don’t know if it’d be worthwhile, and it seems like a hassle, haha.

It’s hard to even describe how amazing Beacon is if you’ve never played a Holy Pally. It really is a thing of beauty to be able to just calmly layer heals + Mastery shields on one tank while the other tank is receiving almost as much Beacon healing with zero extra effort on your part.

Beacon is also especially important to manage if you’re using the 4pc PVP bonus, since a major part of that heal style is having multiple Eternal Flames HoTs providing constant Beacon healing to the active tank.
